By train:

Sète station is served by TGV and Intercités trains. Frontignan, Marseillan and Vic/Mireval are all served by the TER. You can reach them easily every day from Montpellier, Agde or Béziers stations. Find your next train here or take advantage of the regional trains.
 

By bus:  

The LiO bus company offers a number of routes departing from the department's major towns (Montpellier, Béziers, Agde, etc.) to enable you to reach the Thau Archipelago for a day or more. Visit the Hérault Transport website.
 

Car pooling:  

 Accessible via the A9 motorway (exit 33), the A75 motorway (exit 59) or the D613, the Archipel de Thau is just :  
  • 40 min from Montpellier 
  • 45 min from Béziers 
  • 2 hours from Toulouse and Marseille 
  • 3 hours from Barcelona, Lyon, Grenoble and Nice 
  • 3h30 from Clermont-Ferrand

By bike:

Bike + Train:  

The LiO Train service (TER) serves Vic-Mireval, Frontignan, Sète and Marseillan stations and offers 6 places per train for your bike (free of charge / subject to availability).To make sure you don't get stuck on the platform with your bike, we advise you to check the passenger forecasts on the company's calendar or contact them by phone or WhatsApp.  

Please note: Only conventional bicycles are allowed on board trains, excluding tandems and carts when they are not folded/dismantled and stored under a tarpaulin.The TGV also has specific conditions for travelling with a bicycle on board. 
Be sure to check them before you leave to avoid any unpleasant surprises. 
 

Bike + Bus:  

If you want to bring your bike with you, you should know that LiO bus network coaches are equipped with a hold and can accommodate a maximum of 2 bikes (free of charge / subject to available space). Bicycles that are folded and protected by a cover are considered as luggage and should therefore be placed in the hold. Please note that only folding bicycles are accepted on buses serving the communes of the Thau Archipelago
