In 2013, the Pays de Thau was the first destination in the Hérault to be awarded the Vignobles et Découvertes brand, which aims to reward a wine tourism destination offering multiple and complementary tourism products.
In partnership with Hérault Méditerranée, a new wine tourism destination was developed and awarded the brand in 2018: "Thau en Méditerranée". Today, the brand includes more than a hundred professionals: wine growers, shellfish growers, restaurateurs, accommodation providers, tourism, heritage and leisure professionals, spread over the two territories of the Hérault Méditerranée and Sète agglopôle méditerranée agglomeration communities. The aim is for each professional member of the brand to be a true ambassador for the destination.
